Menotrentuno is a photography festival held in Alghero, Sardinia, Italy, organized by SUPALATU Museum. The festival awards grants to a selection of talents under the age of 30, supporting the documentation of local territories through photographic projects that are later produced as exhibitions.
I was selected to develop a project focused on immigrant communities living in the region. The work documents everyday life within North African communities in Sassari and Alghero, inspired by the sense of nostalgia shared by people who come from distant shores.
