BIO
I’m a photographer and filmmaker working across direction, camera and drone.
My focus is on building visual narratives that are essential, grounded and real.
My background is in documentary photography, shaped by assignments in Ukraine, Gaza, Egypt and Italy, with publications in La Repubblica, L’Espresso, Vanity Fair, Internazionale and others.
That documentary experience still informs how I see and how I tell stories, even in commissioned work.
Over time I’ve moved fluidly between fields: from reportage to brand campaigns, from educational projects to long-term visual essays.
What ties them together is a consistent approach, attentive to people, places and those quiet details that often escape notice.
I’ve led creative direction and visual campaigns for clients including SONY, MSC Cruises, OVS, Leica, ENI Plenitude and others.
My structure is flexible, from solo field productions to collaborative projects with small teams of filmmakers, editors, producers and sound designers.
Ultimately, my work is about stories: layered, human, and open to multiple perspectives when one point of view is not enough.
SONY KANDO TRIP
OFFICIAL SONY CREATORS & AMBASSADORS TRIP
Between 2023 and 2025 I took part in three editions of the Sony Kando Trip — Favignana, Jordan, and Morocco — an annual gathering dedicated to creative exploration, research and experimentation with the latest Sony imaging technologies. Each journey became an opportunity to rethink the relationship between image and experience, technology and perception.
From the Mediterranean light of Favignana, to the suspended landscapes of Wadi Rum, to the rhythm and dust of Marrakech — every edition shaped a different way of seeing and translating reality into narrative form. The projects developed during these experiences combine personal storytelling with field testing of new cameras and lenses, producing still and motion works later shared across Sony Italia’s official channels.
I was responsible for:
Photography and video
Visual and narrative direction
Editing and color grading
On-field creative coordination
Content delivery for Sony Italia’s official channels
GRAN RISA
40TH ANNIVERSARY PHOTOGRAPHY BOOK
Between 2023 and 2024 I developed Gran Risa – The Giant of the Giants, a photographic and narrative project dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Gran Risa slope — one of the most iconic courses of the Alpine Ski World Cup.
The work took shape as an author’s photography book, the result of two years of on-field documentation, and as a solo exhibition presented at the Leitner Lounge during the World Cup stage in Alta Badia.
A visual story that intertwines athletic gesture, territorial identity and memory, capturing the spirit of a place where competition meets history.
I was responsible for:
Photography and video
Aerial footage with drone
Visual direction and photographic narrative
Image selection, editing and post-production
Fine art print supervision for exhibition

SONY RX1rIII - OFFICIAL TEST
SONY RX1rIII OFFICIAL TEST
Milano Sporting Club is a photographic series dedicated to urban sports and public space.
Between basketball courts, open-air gyms and park routines, it observes how movement and rhythm reshape the city every day.
The project was conceived as an official test for Sony Italia’s social channels, shot entirely with the new Sony RX1RIII — the evolution of the camera that has accompanied my work and personal life for over twelve years.
Compact, fast and discreet, the RX1RIII allows a natural approach to gesture, distance and urban presence, translating the energy of everyday movement into images.
I was responsible for:
Photography and video
Visual direction and photographic narrative
Image selection, editing and post-production
Delivery for Sony Italia’s digital and social channels
FOOD TRAILS
INSTITUTIONAL VIDEO SERIES
I curated the video production for Food Trails, a European project funded by Horizon 2020 and coordinated by the Municipality of Milan.
For one year I documented and narrated sustainable food policies developed in 11 European cities: Milan, Bergamo, Bordeaux, Birmingham, Copenhagen, Funchal, Grenoble, Groningen, Thessaloniki, Tirana and Warsaw.
Together with a camera operator, I handled direction, ground and drone shooting, and the editing of a video series — one for each city — produced for institutional and public communication channels.
The project, tells the story of change through local initiatives, urban visions and everyday gestures.
I was responsible for:
Narrative development and concept writing for each episode
Planning and pre–production across 11 European cities
Direction of the entire video production
On–location shooting (camera and drone)
Editing of 11 short documentary films
Narrative supervision and adaptation for institutional and digital formats
CORRIERE MOTORI
EDITORIAL PHOTOGRAPHY AND LONG-TERM COLLABORATION WITH CORRIERE DELLA SERA
From 2022 to present I have been collaborating with Corriere della Sera – Motori on a series of editorial road-trip features.
Each special is built around a clear theme — rivers, lakes, borders, industrial heritage, and more — and unfolds as a journey across the territory with the car being presented.
Along the route we tell stories of place and people: travel and culture, food and lifestyle, landscape and local identity.
Visually, the work blends photo essays, video and aerial footage to situate the vehicle within context, not as an isolated object — an approach that connects journalism and visual storytelling.
