Matiri is the name of a small village located in a valley close to the highest peak of the country, Mount Kenya. I came there as volunteer for IBO (Italian NGO) for months, working hand to hand with locals farmer to kept in colture a small piece of land of the only and bigger hospital in the area .
This series is a sort of diary of those days; pictures I've taken following the workers, the medical volunteers, and the activities of di NGO in Meru district.
