This series comes from an assignment by Vanity Fair along the Alpe Adria Trail, walking and photographing the route from the Italy–Slovenia border to the Adriatic Sea in Trieste.
The work documents the landscape and the act of crossing it on foot, focusing on places, transitions, and traces encountered along the path through Friuli Venezia Giulia.
